The food, the drinks, the live music, the entire atmosphere of this place is top notch. Looking for an Island feel while here in Charlotte, this is the place you have to go to! The perfect blend of herbs and spices are in every dish

This place is awesome! Everyone's nice, the place is spotless, and the restaurant itself is very spacious inside and out. I love the outdoor setup! The drinks are really good and the wings were fabulous and huge. Can't wait to go back to try the ox tail.

Nice caribbean vibe here!! The food is fresh, well portioned, and the service quick and servers friendly! I love the decor. This place is great for groups and date night too. It's in the busier part of town. Very scenic and good for people watching. Right next to Haberdish!

Amazing little gem located in NoDa. Authentic Jamaican cuisine and great small comforting vibe. The oxtails were amazing and the jerk chicken was the best I've ever had. The rice was cooked perfectly and coming from a Dominican, the plantains were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

This place was suggested to me. The parking is street parking meaning it can be challenging to find a spot. I ordered a Roy's Revenge while I waited for my food I smashed it. It was easy to drink with hints of lime and ginger. I had the jerk chicken nachos which had me dancing in my seat. The meat was tender the onions and peppers were flavorful. It was a lot I couldn't finish it. I also ordered the empanada duo one was veggie and one was chicken. I also had the cabbage just go ahead and smack someone, smh. The establishment was clean the server was friendly and well dressed. The music was nice. I will be back with guests.

Excellent food with great flavor!!! I had the 1/2 roasted chicken with rice and peas and collard greens and my husband had the curry chicken with rice and peas and mac & cheese. The mac was AWESOME!! IT WAS THE CHEESIEST!!!! Our waitress was a delight!! The food took awhile to come out but it was worth the wait because it was fresh and delicious. I also had the chicken taco and it was THE BEST TACO EVER!!!!!!! When we visit Charlotte again, we will definitely return to this restaurant. MAJOR KUDOS TO THE OWNER & CHEF!!!

How did I miss this place? OMG! Authentic Jamaican Caribbean inspired cuisine! Right in the NODA area. Roy’s Kitchen & Patio is a hidden gem! You can smell the taste of the food. Nice outdoor patio and bar. Definitely a spot you have to try!! We had the oxtails, yellow rice, mac and cheese, collard greens, authentic ginger beer, and margaritas. Absolutely a nice place to come enjoy a meal and great conversation.

The food here... you can't describe. Great taste withe so many twist. Twist of southern, then a twist of Asian.. even Spanish twist on some foods. Evening is so good so much flavor. This is fish salt bites. Ppl here are so nice and welcoming.
